The Genesis of Our Mission
Snehasinchana Trust was established by a collective of visionary physicians who graduated from Bangalore Medical College in 1987. Their shared legacy began on August 9, 1982, a milestone commemorated in the trust's digitalemail identity, snehasinchanabmc82@gmail.com
Following the formation of a collaborative digital forum titled “Project BMC” on April 29, 2021, the group defined its philanthropic vision. This assembly includes dedicated medical professionals residing in India and others who have established careers abroad. Unified by a profound sense of gratitude, they are committed to supporting India ’s underprivileged communities who lacked the developmental opportunities the doctors were fortunate to receive during their youth.
Formally registered in December 2022, the trust is governed by nine dedicated trustees, including three central office bearers. Eight members belong to the BMC Class of 1982, with seven currently based in Bangalore where they maintain active professional practices.
Throughout our developmental phase, we were guided by the expertise of Rotarian Mr. Badarinath, a prominent Bangalore industrialist and philanthropist. His vast experience managing humanitarian health and educational initiatives proved invaluable. Given his leadership at the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Dialysis Centre and his history with the Rotary Bangalore Peenya Trust, he was unanimously invited to bring his strategic insight to our board. We are honored by his acceptance.
Leadership roles were established with Dr. Anjana Sridhar serving as President, while Dr. R Vittal Chavan and Dr. Deepak Rohidekar lead as Secretary and Treasurer respectively.
Our administrative headquarters is located at No 59/3, First Floor, 6th Main, 17th Cross, Malleswaram, Bengaluru 560055.
